Yitzhak Rabin and Moshe Dayan, June 11th 1967

Note to my followers
This photo was one of 11 black and white photos I colorized for a special issue of Yediot Aharonot during Israel's 70th year celebration.
Here is the link to the article.

A day after the Six Day War ended Moshe Dayan (Israel's minister of defence at the time) and
Yitzhak Rabin (Israel's chief of staff at the time) flew over to the Gaza strip to visit the troops.
I tried to minimize the colors in this photo to olive greens and reds,
The final touch was made by adding the sun glare through the chopper's window.
Without it the photo seamed lifeless.

David Rubinger (the Yediot Aharonot photographer at the time) took this photo as the two fatigued generals allowed themselves to catch a snooze now that the war has ended.

It seems like public figures felt so in ease next to rubinger that they allowed themselves to feel at home while he was taking his photos,
Another photo from the same occasion.
